What is a prompt and how do you create an image with it?

A “prompt” is a piece of text with an instruction that you give to the intelligent computer (AI), which then generates something based on the information it has about that ‘something.’ For example, a flying car. The AI knows what flying is and what a car is, and it can create an image based on that.

How to make a good prompt?

When you make a prompt, try to include:

– Who– what (type of) people do you want to see? A lot, a few?

– What– the most important. What is the subject of your visual?

– Where– in what environment or atmosphere does the visual need to take place?

– How– do you want a specific style? A drawing, hyperrealistic, a comic, etc.

 

Tip: give yourself time to play around with these tools to get the hang of it. And sometimes the results you weren’t expecting give you the best ideas.
